Hunting of the gray wolf used to be illegal but now they have decided to lighten up on the ways that they enforce it. One reason in the article that is talked about is how gray wolves prey on farmer's sheep and that is one of the problems that happens out west where there is much more farmland and wild animals, like the gray wolf, running around. A problem that upset environmental and animal groups is that the federal government decided to take the gray wolf off of the endangered species list, which in turn led to this law to be revoked about hunting them.

That's too bad, Jenna. Wolves are so misunderstood--they're important to our ecosystem, and they're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what your view is but I'm guessing your against hunting. A lot of my friends and family hunt and personally I'm against it unless you are hunting as a mean of survival which is not the case for my friend and family. I think that kill for fur or to have the animals as a trophy is wrong. It's really sad that gray wolf hunting has become legal.
